Watching Elmo

Austin since moving to the big boy bed has changed his sleeping times around and now gets to watch Elmo in the morning and that's mostly it since we have been trying to get out more. Austin thinks its the coolest thing to sit in a box or basket to watch his shows and he tips over to climb out. its so funny to here him complain about being 'stuck' then he tips over and says it's broken:)  its so funny Austin thinks everything is broken if its not on or takes a while to work. that is so our fault tho cuz if we say its broken he doesn't ask to watch curious George or Nemo or bath or rid on the bikes and his grandparents house it so funny and nice to not have to tell him no all the time because he tells me its broken and its so funny when he does.

he would run around and around and around the whole little area it was so funny and i have no idea how his feet where not burning, it was 98* that day without the humidity taken into factor.

he had such a fun time playing with our friends that day it was a blast watching him interact with the kids.




All in all Austin had a great time playing with his friends he got to play in the water all day and no have to wear floaties or cling to mamma or daddy. He ran for 3 hours straight which meant that he had a great nap so that mamma could take one because something about being in the heat wears you out so much faster that one would think. But i cant wait to take him back to a splash pad again but the next time hopefully daddy can come too!

Day 3

This morning befor church we were early to be ready since we were up so early with Austin

No this is what happens on day 3 of trying to figure out how to sleep in his room, for any of you who know Austin he doesn't sleep in the car ever never ever he would cry for hours before he would sleep in the car. So this I 10 mins tops after getting in the car to come home for a family BBQ with his cousins there to play with he was exhausted to say the least so tired came home woke up took bath clothed sang prayed and in bed not crying in less than 15 mins makes for a nice night

And so it begins

Austin have hit the mark at 26 months now to climb out of the crib.... You could say to the least that we are notvery happy  about this. So this all started last weekend when we went to watch Daniel and Cath's boys on Friday night till late sat morning were Nona then took over till Sunday night. This was the first not in a crib sleep over that we were attempting with Austin to say the least climbed out of that pack and play like he was superman no trouble at all. Knew that night was going to be a long one and it did ended that Austin ended up sleeping in bed with me and Travis on a twin bed alone that night :) Austin kicked him out of the big bed with me :) so here we are a week later Austin gets the bright idea hey I am going to see if I can climb out of the crib and hey what do you know I can so here we are now 2.5 hours past bed time waiting to see if we can get him tried enough to sleep in his crib or his big boy bed that ate both I'm the same room. He cried for a long time when we tried the whole shut and lock the door thing didn't sleep when I got him he had his pillow an Blakey in his hands asking to get up and screaming and banging and knocking on the door like Sheldon from Big Bang does on Penny's door but for daddy.

First hair cut

I sure do miss the curls but love the look of a big boy with the buzzed hair. He's getting so big
